On a Personal Note
Dr. Laman was born in Casper, Wyoming and grew up in Laramie.  He graduated from Laramie Senior High School and stayed close to home at the University of Wyoming for his undergraduate studies before moving on to Houston for medical school.  After completing his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Wisconsin, he and his wife, Shannon, were anxious to return home to their native Wyoming.  He is an avid golfer and alpine skiier who enjoys running and being out in the fresh, mountain air.
